Sooraj Vasudevan is the founder and CEO of Calculus since February 2016. Sooraj is also the co-founder of BASIC Networx Inc since February 2023.

Prior to these roles, Sooraj held various positions at Lumos Design Technology Pvt. Ltd. from May 2014 to October 2015, including Head of Sales & Marketing. Sooraj achieved a 10x business growth during their tenure and focused on global brand partnerships and PR strategy.

Sooraj also worked at Tejas Networks Ltd. from June 2005 to May 2014, where they held multiple roles such as Manager - International Presales, Assistant Manager - Systems Engineering, and Senior Engineer - Network Solutions. In these positions, they successfully created value for customers through innovative and cost-effective solutions, collaborated with various teams to drive technical discussions, and validated and finalized network engineering designs.

Sooraj Vasudevan has a diverse education history. Sooraj first attended Mahatma Gandhi University from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics. Sooraj then pursued a Master of Science degree in Physics from Cochin University of Science and Technology, completing their studies from 2001 to 2003.

Afterward, they enrolled at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, where they obtained a Master of Technology degree in Optoelectronics and Optical Communications from 2003 to 2005.

More recently, in 2021, Sooraj Vasudevan participated in a program called Certificate in Disruptive Strategy offered by Harvard Business School Online. However, the specific field of study for this program is not disclosed.
