Simon Urdaneta

Simon Urdaneta is an experienced graphic designer and illustrator who has worked with multiple organizations. Simon started their career at VICE Media in 2015 as an illustrator, creating engaging visual narratives that complemented magazine articles. In 2014, they worked at Onclef as a UI Graphic Designer & Illustrator, creating captivating visuals for magazine articles and social media platforms. In 2018, they joined Caldera Films as a Creative Director, where they specialized in crafting captivating brand identities and immersive visual experiences, spearheading all aspects of branding and design. Currently, Simon is the Co-Founder & Art Director of The Last Order, where they collaborate with the creative team to develop and lead the design process for characters and environments, among other visual elements, for an animated comic series.

Simon Urdaneta attended Colegio Bellas Artes from 1998 to 2010, but did not obtain a degree or field of study. Later, they attended Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín from 2014 to 2018, earning a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design.
