Safia Kauser

Safia joined the Corporation in 2019 and sits on the Curriculum, Quality and Standards Committee. Safia has been teaching for 12 years. She is passionate about education as a means of developing independent and critical thought, transferable skills and providing opportunities and choices for young people. Her role as Lead Practitioner demonstrates her interest in developing and supporting teaching and learning to make learning accessible and effective for students, it also provides her with the opportunity to work collaboratively with a wide range of people. Safia was born and brought up in Halifax and has lived locally for the vast majority of her life. Safia joined the Governing body to make a positive contribution in supporting her local community and the young people in it.
