Mihaela Iliescu

Mihaela Iliescu has extensive experience in health and safety management across various sectors. Currently serving as Safety Installation Responsible for France & Italy at Calderys since July 2017, Mihaela evaluates safety documentation and assesses safety risks. In addition, Mihaela has held the position of Health and Safety Advisor at Horizon Nuclear Power since January 2016, focusing on health and safety management systems, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration. Previous roles include Safety Director at Enel România and Senior Safety Specialist at Enel, where Mihaela developed safety programs and ensured regulatory compliance. Mihaela's career also includes positions at General Electric Energy, Siemens Power Generation, Trinity Rail, and SEWS-E, emphasizing the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards. Mihaela holds a degree in engineering from Universitatea „Politehnica” din Timișoara.
