Nate Weger

Nate Weger is an entrepreneur and engineer currently building Calectra, where they serve as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, focusing on electrifying high-temperature industrial heat. They are also an Activate Fellow at Berkeley Lab’s Cyclotron Road. Nate holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, where they conducted extensive research, including the design of high-temperature energy systems. Prior experience includes roles at The Kraft Heinz Company, Eaton, and a variety of research positions related to energy and engineering.
