Hugh Anderson

Hugh Anderson is an experienced finance professional currently serving as Finance Director at Caledonian Sleeper since March 2024, overseeing the brand's transition back into Scottish public ownership. Previously, Hugh held the role of Finance Director at Scotland's Rural College from February 2018 to January 2024, contributing to strategic initiatives in the agriculture and rural sector. Prior to that, Hugh served as Finance Director at The Digital Health & Care Institute from August 2014 to February 2018, focusing on collaborative innovation in health and social care. Additional experience includes co-founding Forth Metrics/Inkybee, and holding various finance and corporate development positions at Novotech Investment Limited and Scottish and Newcastle. Hugh's professional journey began in audit and corporate recovery at Arthur Andersen. Hugh holds a BA Hons in Economics & Accountancy from Durham University.
