Jigar Desai

Jigar Desai is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in product and engineering leadership across several high-profile companies. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Calendly since December 2023, Jigar previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Product and Engineering at Sisu from April 2022 to November 2023, focusing on machine learning-driven analytics. Jigar's tenure at Facebook from May 2017 to March 2022 involved overseeing exabyte-scale data products and managing a large team to support various platforms. At PayPal, as Vice President of Product and Engineering from April 2014 to April 2017, Jigar was instrumental in developing the technology foundation that managed millions of daily transactions globally. Prior experience includes significant roles at eBay, where Jigar led expansive teams and launched successful products, and early engineering positions at Selectica, Aquas, BCSS, and TCS. Jigar holds a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute, Mumbai.
