Shannon Symonds

Shannon Symonds is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data analysis and museum curation. Currently serving as a Senior Data Analyst at Calero since August 2020, Shannon provides exceptional customer care to telecommunications clients, analyzes billing data for potential errors and savings, and acts as a liaison between clients and vendors. Prior to this role, Shannon worked at The Strong for over thirteen years, beginning as an Acquisitions Cataloger and progressing to Curator, where responsibilities included managing a vast collection of video game artifacts and contributing to exhibit design. Shannon also has experience in academia as an Adjunct History Professor at SUNY Brockport and boasts dual Bachelor's degrees in History and Journalism from St. Bonaventure University, as well as a Master's degree in History from SUNY Brockport. Additionally, Shannon is the founder and chairperson of Equal Grounds, an employee resource group focused on gender and equality in the workplace.
