Michael D. Olinek

In March 2017, Mike assumed the responsibilities of Chief Financial Officer for Calfrac. In this role, he leads the team responsible for Calfrac’s primary financial functions including financial reporting, treasury, financial risk management, internal audit and taxation.

Joining the company in 2006 as the Corporate Controller, Mike was promoted to the role of VP Finance in 2011. Prior to joining Calfrac, Mike progressed through various financial roles at both ExxonMobil Canada and Encana Corporation. Graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary in 1989, Mike began his professional career in the audit department at a major accounting firm. He is a member in good standing of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta.
