Jason Valleau is a seasoned music professional with extensive experience in education and the arts. Currently serving as a FYTT Music Specialist at the Calgary Board of Education, Jason has co-founded and contributed to the Polyjesters as a musician, bassist, and vocalist since 1999. Previous roles include Music Teacher at Calgary Academy, Operations Manager at JazzYYC, and Programs Manager at the National Music Centre, where Jason developed programs aligned with organizational values. Jason's entrepreneurial spirit led to the creation of Alberta Sound Co and The Café Radio, where Jason focused on event management and audio engineering. As the founder of the Mountain View Music Fest, Jason managed comprehensive festival operations. Academic accomplishments include a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Bachelor of Music with Distinction from the University of Calgary.
