Lindsay Douglas

Lindsay Douglas is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in strategic marketing and communications. Currently serving as a Communications Advisor at Calgary Board of Education since September 2025, Lindsay previously held multiple roles at Distress Centre Calgary from March 2014 to September 2025, including Communications Manager and Snr Communications Specialist. Key responsibilities included developing and executing an annual marketing and communications strategic plan, managing diverse communication channels, and creating content across various media formats. Prior experience includes roles at Nexen from May 2012 to March 2014, where collaborative communication support was provided, and as Web Editor for The Reflector in 2012-2013, managing online content and social media platforms. Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Communication in Journalism and a Marketing and Strategic Communications Extension Certificate from Mount Royal University.
