Sydney Walraven

Sydney Walraven is an experienced educator and service professional with a diverse background. Currently serving as a Substitute Teacher for Calgary Board of Education and Rocky View Schools since May and April 2022, respectively, Sydney has also worked as a Tutor for Calgary Home Tutoring and as a Teacher Assistant at Montessori Children's House Academy. Additional experience includes positions as a Lounge Server at Oliver & Bonacini Restaurants and a Server at various establishments such as Cactus Club Cafe and Original Joe's Restaurant & Bar. Earlier career roles include serving as a Medic at Onyx Medical Services Ltd. and working as an Office Assistant at Forward Level Marketing. Sydney holds a Bachelor of Education from Mount Royal University, a Medical Laboratory Assistant diploma from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria, with earlier studies in Biology at Okanagan College.
