Maria Chormela Santos

Maria Chormela Santos is an experienced professional in financial information systems and programming with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Manager of Financial Information Systems at Calgary Catholic School District since November 1999, Maria began as a System Analyst and progressed to a Team Lead, where responsibilities included coaching and mentoring new System Analysts and providing technical training. Prior to this role, Maria worked at Philippine Systems Synergy, Inc. as a Programmer, contributing to a Banking System project and providing training to junior programmers, and at Guardian Royal Exchange Assurance as a Developer focused on code development and reporting. Maria holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from AMA University and has furthered education at the University of Calgary.
