Nihal Amin

Nihal Amin is an experienced professional in employer engagement and project management, currently serving as the Employer Engagement & Placement Specialist at Calgary Economic Development since March 2023. Previously, Nihal held the position of Project Manager at Languages in Motion Ltd., where responsibilities included coordinating projects and engaging clients to assess their needs. Additional experience includes working as a Virtual Administrative Assistant at Diligent Assistant, providing customer service and supporting the CEO with communication strategies, and participating in career services programs focused on enhancing language skills and digital training for foreign trained professionals at Calgary Immigrant Women's Association. Earlier roles also included coordinating exam operations at the British Council and serving as a Teaching Assistant. Nihal holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Cairo University and is pursuing a Master's Degree in Economics at the University of Calgary, expected to complete in 2025.
