Cassie Hawrysh

Cassie Hawrysh serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager at Volleyball Alberta, where responsibilities include overseeing branding, marketing, promotions, and sponsorship initiatives. With a background in volleyball, track and field, and World Cup/Olympic Skeleton, Cassie brings a deep passion for sport to the role. As a private consultant at CassEffect Inc., Cassie represents diverse clients and identifies efficiencies across various industries. Additional roles include serving as the in-game host for the Calgary Stampeders, a professional speaker with the Speakers Bureau of Canada, and on-air analyst/field reporter for CBC, providing expertise in various sports including Olympic events. Previous positions also include Head of Brand at Vivid Theory, Business Development Manager at Carmella Marketing, and marketing roles with the EMPOWERED. Cassie holds a BA in Journalism with distinction from the University of Regina and a BA in Visual Arts & Communications from the University of Windsor.
