Chris Wahl

Chris Wahl is currently serving as an Associate Digital Producer at Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation since October 2023, following a tenure at the Western Hockey League where roles included Senior Manager and Manager of Communications from May 2021 to October 2023. Prior to that, Chris worked at Rogers Communications from June 2017 to May 2021 as a Morning Sports Anchor and Sports Anchor/Reporter. Experience in the hockey sector also includes roles as Director of Sales & Public Relations for the Kootenay ICE Hockey Club and Director of Media Relations for the Surrey Eagles Hockey Club. Earlier career highlights involve serving as Director of Marketing & Broadcast for the Trail Smoke Eaters Hockey Club and working as a News Reporter/Anchor at Vista Radio Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Broadcast Journalism from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and a degree from Simon Fraser University.
