Rick Davis is an accomplished sports performance professional with extensive experience in various coaching and athletic performance roles. Currently serving as the Director of Sports Performance for the Calgary Flames (NHL) since August 2018, Rick has also held positions as Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Stockton Heat, the Flames' AHL affiliate. Prior to this, Rick worked at Stanford University as an Applied Sport Scientist and Sport Performance Assistant Coach. Additional experience includes roles as a Neuro Exercise Therapist and Applied Researcher at SCI-FIT, Assistant Strength & Conditioning Coach for American River College, and Sport Performance Coach at 24 Hour Fitness. Rick holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Human & Sport Performance from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from California State University, Sacramento. Rick also possesses an Associate of Arts degree in Math/Science from Cuesta College.
