Moya Rose has extensive experience in the legal and law enforcement sectors. Currently serving as the Assistant to Chief Constable at the Calgary Police Service since May 2021, Moya previously coordinated educational programs at the Canadian Centre for Professional Legal Education from September 2020 to April 2021. Moya's legal expertise was honed over several years as a Senior Paralegal at Encana Corporation/Ovintiv from September 2013 to June 2020, and as Coordinator, Senior Paralegal & Board Administrator at Agrium from April 2000 to September 2013. In earlier roles, Moya was a Senior Paralegal at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP from 1997 to 2000 and held a similar position at Dunphy Best Blocksom LLP, focusing on immigration, from 1995 to 1997. Moya Rose is an alumna of the University of Calgary.
