Amanda Anderson

Amanda Anderson, CPA, currently serves as the Assistant Controller at Calgary Zoo since March 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda accumulated extensive experience at KPMG Canada from January 2018 to February 2023, progressing through positions such as Manager, Senior Accountant, and Staff Accountant. Previous to KPMG, Amanda worked as a Shift Supervisor at Starbucks from August 2012 to December 2017, where responsibility included cash flow monitoring and store operations management. Additionally, Amanda gained experience as a Claims Analyst Summer Intern at TD, contributing to disaster response efforts, and served as a PASS Leader at Mount Royal University, facilitating study sessions for accounting students. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Mount Royal University and is a CPA Candidate from CPA Canada.
