Joe Barsi

Joe Barsi has extensive work experience in the agricultural industry. Joe started their career in 1993 as a General Manager- West at C.H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc., where they worked until 2003. In 2005, they joined California Giant Berry Farms as the Vice President of Business Development, leading the company's expansion into Chile, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, and Canada. Joe played a pivotal role in establishing Cal Giant as a top 10 importer of fresh blueberries from Chile. In 2012, they became the President of Tradin Organics U.S.A., LLC. and held that position until 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the President of ENZAFRUIT Products, Inc., a division of T&G. In 2018, they returned to California Giant Berry Farms as the Chief Operating Officer, and in 2020, they became the President of the company. Joe also joined FirstFruits Farms LLC as a Board Member in 2019. Joe Barsi has demonstrated strong leadership and a track record of successful business development in the agricultural industry.

Joe Barsi began their education in 1989 at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business, Marketing in 1993. After a break in their education, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at Santa Clara University from 2005 to 2007. Prior to their MBA, Joe also attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2005, where they studied Business Administration, specifically in Principles of Real Estate.
