Doug Ferrall

Doug Ferrall has a strong background in community development and program management. Doug most recently worked as the Assistant Director of Community Development at Calhoun County Government, where they began in January 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Program Manager at Calhoun County Government from April 2018 to December 2019. Doug also has experience serving on the Girls on the Run of Southwest Michigan Board as Vice Chair from August 2016 to April 2018. Doug previously worked as the Director of Programs and Evaluation at United Way of Southwest Michigan from September 2013 to April 2018. Before that, Doug worked as a Volunteer Services Associate at the American Red Cross from September 2012 to September 2013. Doug also held roles at The Business Round Table and StructureTec Corporation as a Marketing Coordinator and Marketing/Graphic Design Assistant, respectively, from August 2011 to August 2012. Doug began their career as a Project Coordinator and Intern at the Allegan Chamber of Commerce from January 2011 to July 2011.

Doug Ferrall completed their education at Western Michigan University. From 2006 to 2011, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and Image Management. Following this, from 2013 to 2016, they obtained a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) degree with a specialization in Non-Profit, Public, and Organizational Management.
