Howard H. Simon

Howard H. Simon, CPA, is an Audit Partner with Calibre CPA Group. He has been in the practice of public accounting since 1980. Howard has focused his career on servicing a variety of not-for-profit organizations including labor unions, multiemployer benefit plans and other labor-related entities. His experience encompasses auditing, management consulting and internal control evaluation. As a leader of the firm’s professionals, Howard constantly challenges his team to produce efficient and effective client services while providing meaningful and timely advice.

Howard is responsible for all aspects of client service and engagement management including planning, engagement budgeting, supervision of staff personnel, preparation of financial statements, auditor’s reports and management letters and presenting audit results to clients. He is also responsible for ensuring the proper tax and informational filings for his clients.

Howard received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accounting licensed to practice in the State of Illinois. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Illinois Certified Public Accountants Society and International Foundation of Employee Benefit Funds.
