Amanda Fitzpatrick has work experience in both the private and public sectors. Amanda began their career in 2012 with the United States Air Force, where they held various roles including Resource Advisor/Plans Section Chief, Section Chief, First Sergeant, Superintendent of IGI, and Flight Superintendent of Plans and Resources. Their time with the Air Force extended until November 2020. In 2020, they joined CALIBRE Systems, Inc. as an Information Technology Project Manager.

Amanda Fitzpatrick has a strong education background in management information systems and project management. Amanda earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management Information Systems and Project Management from American Military University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Management Information Systems, General from the same institution from 2011 to 2015. Amanda's educational journey began at the Community College of the Air Force, where they earned an Associate's degree from 2002 to 2004. Additionally, Amanda has several certifications that further enhance their expertise. These include the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in December 2022, the ITIL® 4 Specialist: Create, Deliver and Support certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice obtained in May 2022, and the IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice obtained in January 2021. Furthermore, they hold the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute obtained in May 2020, the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA obtained in June 2017, and the CompTIA A+ certification from CompTIA obtained in October 2010.
