Troy D. Barnes is currently the VP of Defense Mission Solutions at CALIBRE Systems. Troy previously worked as an adjunct mathematics professor at Elizabeth City State University from January 2009 to December 2010. There, they were responsible for teaching college algebra and calculus to students. Troy also served as a visiting professor, consultant, and academic advisor to department chairs and the Dean of the Department.

Barnes developed syllabi, standards of learning (SOL), lesson plans, and curriculum for the mathematics department. Troy also conducted lectures, cases, simulations, and workshops. Troy led student discussions, problem solving, and presentations/briefings. Troy prepared course material and course schedules according to current instructional systems design technology. Barnes has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point, a Master in Engineering/Industrial Management from Old Dominion University, and a Master of Military Operational Art and Science in Military Strategic Studies, General from Air University.

They are on a team with Charles O. Onstott III - VP, Chief Technology Officer, Gregory W. Price - VP, Business Development, and Jerry W. Hogge - EVP & COO. Their manager is Richard Y. Pineda, President & CEO.
