Hernán Díaz

Hern Kim is a seasoned medical device design consultant with extensive experience in rapid product development across Class I/II/III medical devices. Currently serving as a Medical Device Design Consultant at HERNETICS, LLC since October 2007, Hern Kim specializes in front-end concept development, ergonomic studies, mechanical features, prototyping, design validation, and full-scale manufacturing. In addition, Hern Kim holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at EZ Scope and Chief Product Officer at Cision Vision, where innovative imaging technology is developed to enhance clinical visualization. Hern Kim has provided consulting services to various medical firms including Transmural Systems, Johns Hopkins Medicine, NorthEast Monitoring Inc., PathMaker Neurosystems Inc., Cytrellis Biosystems, TransMedics Inc., and Corindus Vascular Robotics. Hern Kim completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has an educational background at Boston University and Bronx High School of Science.
