Kevin Cahua

Kevin Cahua has a diverse work experience. In 2023, they began working as a Junior Test Engineer at CALIENT Technologies Inc., where they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the operation of the MicroElectroMechanical Systems (MEMS) test equipment and testing of parts. Kevin also conducted tests, such as vendor-qualification protocols, corrective-action reviews, or performance monitoring of incoming materials or components to ensure conformance to specifications, as well as analyses of Test issues such as failure, reliability, or yield improvement. From 2019 to 2018, Kevin worked as a Bike Mechanic for the Associated Students of University of California Santa Barbara and as a Routes Coordinator for Associated Students Recycling. In 2017, they worked as a Front Desk Receptionist at Shama Thai Massage, where their duties included opening and closing shop, handling cash and debit/credit transactions, keeping a running database of all customers and transactions while maintaining confidentiality, keeping the workplace clean, and maintaining a strong knowledge of the services provided and company protocol to answer any questions or handle issues that occur.

Kevin Cahua attended Burlingame High School before continuing their education at UC Santa Barbara, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics in 2021.
