J. DeWayne Selvig

J. DeWayne Selvig has a diverse work experience in the construction and architecture field. J. DeWayne began their career as a Job Captain Drafter at Archicon in 1998 and worked there until 2002. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as an Architectural Consultant at Selvig Design Consultants. In 2005, they joined K & I Architects and Interiors as an Architectural Project Manager. J. DeWayne then transitioned to Archicon, LLC in 2006 as a Construction Administrator, managing projects in the construction phase. In 2006, they also worked as a Construction Project Manager at BJERK BUILDERS. Starting in 2008, J. DeWayne Selvig became the Owner of Selvig Construction Company, LLC, where they self-performed and managed small to medium sized projects. In 2013, they joined FM GROUP INC as a Construction Administrator, overseeing architectural projects from inception to completion. Currently, they are a Project Manager at Caliente Construction, Inc.

J. DeWayne Selvig holds a Master of Science degree in Construction Management from Arizona State University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from The University of Memphis from 1995 to 1998. J. DeWayne also has an Associate of Applied Science degree in Architecture Technology from State Technical Institute, which they acquired from 1992 to 1994. In addition to their academic qualifications, Selvig has obtained several certifications related to project management and safety from Procore Technologies. J. DeWayne received certifications as a Project Manager at GC (Core Tools), a Procore Certified Project Manager (Project Management), and a Procore Certified Project Manager (Quality & Safety) in July 2019.
