Frank Phan

Frank Phan has over 15 years of work experience, with expertise in financial reporting, controllership, and assurance services. Frank is currently the Director of Financial Reporting at Califia Farms, where they oversee financial statement reporting. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Controllership at Rakuten Kobo Inc., where they were responsible for financial analysis and reporting, tax compliance, and leadership of the controllership function. Earlier in their career, Frank worked as a Controller at Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd., managing financial reporting, budgeting, and transfer pricing. Frank also gained extensive experience as a Senior Manager in Assurance Services at Ernst & Young, working with private and public companies in various industries and providing advisory services in IFRS and US GAAP. Frank Phan completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting at the University of Toronto Scarborough from 2003 to 2007. In 2008, they obtained the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada) after completing a program at the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario in the same year.
