Aaron S.

Aaron S. has extensive experience in exhibition planning and management, currently serving as Director of Exhibitions at the California Academy of Sciences since 2011, with prior roles including Director of Exhibit Planning and Production, Director of Exhibits (Interim), and Associate Director of Exhibit Project Management and Production. Aaron began a career in exhibit development and project management at the Smithsonian Institution from 2008 to 2011 and held the position of Senior Writer and Special Projects at the American Architectural Foundation from 2005 to 2008. Aaron's early experience includes work as a Writer/Editor Consultant at Reading Is Fundamental from 2001 to 2003. Aaron holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Virginia and two Bachelor of Arts degrees from Middlebury College, one in Literary Studies and another in Comparative Literature and Russian Language.
