Timothy Wong

Timothy Wong is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biological care and garden management. Currently serving as the Garden Manager at Sisterhood Gardens since June 2022, Timothy oversees garden maintenance and building projects, including managing the drip irrigation system. In addition, Timothy has been a Senior Biologist at the California Academy of Sciences since April 2011, with responsibilities including daily care for a diverse collection of 38,000 aquatic animals and leading the live foods program. Earlier roles at the Academy involved providing husbandry coverage for various species, including tropical plants, birds, and invertebrates. Timothy holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of California, San Diego, and has furthered education at the Monteverde Institute in Costa Rica.
