Harbinder Maan has a diverse range of work experience in marketing and project management. Harbinder started their career as a Senior Sourcing Manager at dunhill from February 1995 to June 1998. Harbinder then worked as a Business Executive at United Business Media from June 2000 to August 2001, where they analyzed new technology platforms for the farming and homeware/furniture industries. Maan later joined MedicAlert Foundation in December 2001 as a Marketing Manager, responsible for generating new member creation and developing consumer programs. In 2005, they became the North America Marketing Manager at Almond Board of California and eventually progressed to the role of Global Category Marketing Manager from August 2007 to May 2013. Harbinder then served as the Senior Marketing Manager, Global Trade Stewardship at the same company, responsible for developing and executing business strategies. Currently, Maan is serving as the Associate Director Trade Marketing and Stewardship at Almond Board of California, where they oversee trade marketing and stewardship initiatives.

Harbinder Maan obtained a BEng degree in Textile Engineering and Manufacture from The University of Huddersfield, which was earned between 1989 and 1993. Later, in 1998 to 1999, they pursued an MBA degree in Business from the University of Cambridge. Additionally, Harbinder Maan obtained certifications in various fields, including being a Certified ANA Marketing Professional (CAMP) from the Association of National Advertisers in June 2023, completing the Leading at a Distance course from LinkedIn in April 2020, and becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK) in September 1997.
