James Beckwith

James Beckwith currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Western Bankers Association since June 2021. In addition, James has held the position of President and CEO at Five Star Bank in California since 2003. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Credit Officer at Redwood Empire Bancorp and National Bank of the Redwoods from 1995 to 2003. Earlier in their career, James worked as a Senior Manager at Touche Ross & Co. from 1981 to 1991. James holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from San Francisco State University's Lam Family College of Business and completed studies at the Pacific Coast Banking School.
