Elizabeth (Ellie) Downing Whisner is a seasoned professional in the field of nutrition, serving as a Certified Nutrition Consultant at Good Food Nutrition since March 2012, and as a Certification Specialist at California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF) since July 2007. With valuable experience from roles as a Certified Nutrition Consultant Intern at Spectrum Health Center and as a Nutrition Intern at Live Oak Family Resource Center, Elizabeth has a solid foundation in nutrition education and practice. Previous positions include working as a Web Intern & Writer at Kitchen Caravan, a Certification Service Representative/Certification Associate at CCOF, a Food Technologist at Monterey Mushrooms, and a Bulk Food Buyer at New Leaf Community Market. Elizabeth holds a Certificate in Nutrition Consulting from Bauman College, attended Apicius: The Culinary Institute of Florence, and earned a BS in Nutrition & Food Science from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
