Fátima is Managing Director on the Southern California Local Advocacy team. Fatima has worked in the Inland Empire region for over eight years. Prior to joining CCSA, Fatima taught Communication Studies at California State University, San Bernardino, as well as San Bernardino Valley College. She also managed a group of educators that taught health education across Southern California for a local nonprofit organization. A transplant to SoCal via Zacatecas, Mexico, Fatima immigrated with her parents and siblings to the U.S. in the hope of a life with unimaginable opportunities. Her parents instilled in her the importance and value of education. Currently, Fatima serves on the (Un)documented Alumni Board at CSUSB to assist students in various stages of documentation navigate the higher education system.
