Miles Durfee

VP, Southern California Local Advocacy at CALIFORNIA CHARTER SCHOOLS ASSOCIATION

Miles is the Vice President of Local Advocacy for the Southern California team that leads local advocacy in San Bernardino, Riverside, Orange, San Diego and Imperial Counties. He has lived in San Diego for over 25 years beginning his career in public education over 20 years ago as the Administrative and Legislative Manager at San Diego Unified School District. While Miles was born in Pennsylvania, he grew up in Los Angeles and attended schools within the Los Angeles Unified School District to complete his K-12 education. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from UC Santa Barbara and a Master of Public Administration from George Washington University. Miles spends most of his free time with his two children and partner. They enjoy playing volleyball together and camping in Baja, Mexico.
