Marina Pugliese

Marina Pugliese is an accomplished art historian and director with extensive experience in public art and museum management. Currently serving as the Director of the Museum of Cultures and overseeing intercultural projects and public art for the City of Milan since July 2020, Marina also holds the role of Head of Public Art within the same city. Additional contributions include faculty positions at the California College of the Arts and previous leadership roles such as Creative Director at the Berggruen Institute and Director of Modern and Contemporary Art Museums in Milan. With a PhD from Università degli Studi di Udine and a Master's degree in Contemporary Art History from the University of Genoa, Marina’s expertise blends academic knowledge with practical leadership in the arts sector.
