John Bretthauer

John Bretthauer has over two decades of experience in the financial services industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer at California Credit Union since May 2005. Throughout their tenure at California Credit Union, John has held various senior roles, including EVP, Chief Credit Officer, and President of CUSO Operations, as well as EVP/Chief Operating Officer and Chief Lending Officer/Credit Manager. Prior to this, John held the position of Chief Lending Officer at CU Business Partners LLC from 1998 to 2005, and served as Business Banking Manager at both Telesis Community Credit Union and Home Savings of America FSB. Earlier career experience includes roles as Private Banking Manager at Wells Fargo and Manager at First Interstate Bank. John Bretthauer earned a degree from California State University, Bakersfield, between 2003 and 2007.
