Greg Jackson

Greg Jackson is an experienced sports journalist who has served as the Assistant Sports Editor at the Jefferson City News Tribune since May 2016, overseeing coverage for several high schools and an NCAA Division II school. Prior to this, Jackson worked at The Fayette Advertiser for seven years, first as Sports Editor and later as Managing Editor, where responsibilities included sports coverage, general assignment stories, and newspaper layout. Earlier experiences include roles as a Page Designer and Copy Editor at the Columbia Missourian, a Sports Reporter intern at The Republic Monitor, and a Shipping Specialist at MidwayUSA. Jackson holds a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, complemented by minors in Business and Political Science.
