Deanna McKnight (Fernandes) currently serves as the Vice President of Member Programs at the California Dental Association, having held various roles within the organization since April 2020. Prior to this, Deanna worked at the California School Boards Association from August 2014 to April 2020, where significant achievements included overseeing major conferences, enhancing training programs, and managing a dynamic team. Earlier experience includes directing the School Smarts Parent Engagement program at California State PTA and roles at both California School Boards Association and the Peace Corps that involved program development and team management. Deanna holds a Master's degree in Teaching International Languages from California State University, Chico, and a certificate in Digital Experience Strategy from the Professional Convention Management Association.
