Andrew Day

Andrew Day is a skilled attorney with extensive experience at the California Department of Justice, currently serving as Deputy Attorney General Supervisor in the Office of General Counsel since June 2020. Previously, Andrew held various roles within the same department, advancing to Deputy Attorney General IV and III in the Civil Division, Government Law Section. Prior to this, Andrew was a Litigation Associate at DLA Piper from October 2014 to June 2020, where significant achievements included representing high-stakes clients in complex arbitration and litigation matters, as well as contributing to legal scholarship. Andrew's legal expertise is supported by a J.D. from the University of California, Davis - School of Law and a dual A.B. degree in Political Science and Sociology from the University of California, Davis. Early career experiences include law clerking, legal research, and constituent services in the California State Assembly.
