Courtney Towle

Courtney Towle is a Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice since September 2013, notable for securing a $70+ million settlement in a significant unfair competition, fraud, and non-compliance case, and for receiving the 2024 Attorney General Award for Outstanding Achievement in Client Representation. Prior experience includes serving as an attorney at Patton, Tidwell & Schroeder, LLP, where Courtney successfully handled antitrust lawsuits, and at Keker & Van Nest, LLP, with a focus on resolving contract disputes and defending patent litigation. Earlier work at Howrey involved winning a biotech patent infringement trial and managing substantial antitrust settlements.
