Judith Recchio

Judith Recchio is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both governmental and private sectors. Currently serving as the Interim Deputy Director and Chief Counsel at the California Department of Health Care Services since February 2018, Judith Recchio has held various roles including Deputy Chief Counsel and Senior Assistant Chief Counsel on the Administrative Litigation Team. Judith Recchio also has a longstanding tenure at the California Department of Justice since September 2006, acting as Supervising Deputy Attorney General, representing State departments in both trial and appellate courts, as well as before administrative agencies. Prior legal experience includes roles as Of Counsel at Harrang Long Gary Rudnick P.C., Partner at Tomlinson Zisko LLP and Skjerven Morrill, LLC, and Attorney positions at Genesis Law Group, Gassett Perry & Frank, and Burger & Plavan. Judith Recchio holds a Juris Doctor degree from Santa Clara University School of Law and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of California, Davis.
