Keari Platt

Keari Platt is an accomplished attorney specializing in environmental law, holding a Doctor of Law degree with a concentration in Environmental Law from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, completed in May 2023. Keari Platt's professional experience includes serving as an Honors Deputy Attorney General at the California Department of Justice, contributing as a Graduate Legal Assistant, and advocating for environmental policies as a Board Member and Environmental Policy Advocate for the Cleveland National Forest Foundation. Additional roles include editorial positions with the Hastings Environmental Law Journal, including Executive Acquisitions Editor, and experience as a Summer Legal Intern at the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Keari Platt also gained valuable insights as a Legal Extern in the Administrative Law Judge Division of the California Public Utilities Commission. Keari Platt earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a focus on Law & Society from UC San Diego in August 2016.
