Christina Boggs-Chavira

Christina Boggs-Chavira, PG, is a Senior Engineering Geologist Supervisor at the California Department of Water Resources, where employment began in January 2011. In this role, Christina oversees the Sustainable Groundwater Management Office within the Communications and Outreach Section, focusing on enhancing communication and engagement regarding the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act and related services. Christina has progressively advanced through various engineering geologist positions, contributing to groundwater data management and standard procedures for Geographic Information System data accessibility. Prior to this role, Christina promoted and reviewed music events for Rock on Cali and served as a student assistant at the California Department of Toxic Substances Control. Christina holds a BA in Geology and American Sign Language from California State University-Sacramento, with a high school education completed at Mira Loma High School.
