David Pesavento is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on water resources. Currently serving as Supervising Engineer at the California Department of Water Resources since July 2008, David manages the implementation of the Systemwide Flood Risk Reduction program, collaborating with various federal, state, and local agencies as well as landowners to execute multi-benefit projects within California's flood system. Previous positions include Senior Engineer and Engineer, where David contributed to key projects and inspections aimed at maintaining public safety in flood control systems. In addition to engineering roles, David has served as an adjunct instructor on civil engineering and surveying at Heald College and ITT Technical Institute. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Sacramento.
