Daniel Ryhal, CPA, currently serves as a Financial Reporting Specialist at the California Earthquake Authority, where responsibilities include implementing investment accounting software, monitoring compliance for $20 billion in assets under management, and preparing statutory filings. Prior to this role, Daniel held positions as an Associate Accounting Analyst for the State of California, where efficiency improvements reduced month-end close times significantly, and at Apercen Partners LLC as a Senior Associate focused on accounts payable and client financial reporting. Additionally, Daniel gained experience at Bowman & Company, LLP, and EY as an Assurance Associate. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley.
