Vinod Kashyap

Vinod Kashyap has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and security. Vinod started their career in 1999 as a System Administrator at Distinct Corporation, where they designed and implemented LAN/WAN networks and supported a team of software developers until 2003.

Vinod then joined Abbott Laboratories in 2003, where they held various roles. As a Senior System Administrator, they developed and implemented Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans and implemented SMS 2003 for global clients. Vinod later became an IT Project Manager, leading a team and managing the development of a Complaint Reporting Solution. Vinod then served as a Specialist IT Technical Team Lead, where they led a team of system administrators and application support engineers and managed infrastructure operations for Abbott sites in California.

Since 2016, Vinod has been working at Vituity. Vinod initially served as an Enterprise Systems Manager, and later transitioned into roles related to enterprise and information security. Vinod has held positions such as Senior Manager of InfoSec and Sr. Manager of Enterprise Security & Information Security Officer. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Enterprise Security & Information Security Officer.

Vinod Kashyap received their education in a chronological order. Vinod attended Birla Higher Secondary School in Pilani, India from 1979 to 1983, where they completed their High School education with a focus on Math and Science. From 1983 to 1988, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical & Electronics and a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mathematics at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani. Additionally, Vinod obtained several certifications throughout their career, including the Professional Scrum Master I certification from Scrum.org in 2022, the CCSFP certification from HITRUST in 2019, and the (ISC)2 Security CISSP certification from (ISC)2 in 2019, among others.
