Luis Larios

Luis Larios currently serves as the Deputy Secretary of Legislation and External Affairs at the California Government Operations Agency since December 2022. Prior to this role, Larios was the Deputy Appointments Secretary for the Office of California Governor Gavin Newsom from July 2020 to January 2023. Larios has significant legislative experience, having worked as a Senior Assistant in the California State Assembly for Assemblymember Miguel Santiago, a Legislative Aide for Assemblymember Mike Gipson, and as an Assembly Fellow for Assemblymember Kevin Mullin. Larios holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
