Anne Sunderland is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in health policy and management. Currently serving as the Senior Communications Officer for the California Health Care Foundation since October 2015, Anne leads communication strategies to enhance access to coverage and care for low-income Californians. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Manager at The Public Health Institute, where Anne delivered communications for numerous global health projects, and as an Analyst at Blue Shield of California, focusing on preventive health initiatives. Additionally, Anne has a significant background as a freelance health writer and editor, and as a Health Planner at La Clinica de La Raza, where over $3 million was raised for program operations. Anne's earlier work includes serving as Senior Editor at the Institute for Global Health, UCSF, contributing to international HIV/AIDS training initiatives. Anne holds an MPH in Health Policy and Management from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
