Elliot Mainzer

Elliot Mainzer is an accomplished energy executive with extensive leadership experience in the electricity sector. Since October 2020, Elliot serves as the Chief Executive Officer of California ISO. Prior to this role, Elliot held various positions at Bonneville Power Administration from April 2002 to August 2020, including Administrator & CEO, Acting Administrator, Acting Deputy Administrator, Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Manager of Transmission Policy and Strategy, Acting Manager of Customer Service Engineering, and Trading Floor Manager. Elliot's earlier career includes roles at Enron Corp as Manager of the Renewable Power Desk and Manager of Power Structuring. Elliot holds an MBA in Finance and Risk Management and a Master of Environmental Studies in Energy Policy from Yale, as well as a BA in Geography with High Honors from the University of California, Berkeley.
